This project is a redesign of  the soda brand, Wink, from Canada Dry's family. Wink is a soda produced by the Canada Dry Corporation. Introduced in 1965, Wink was touted as a non-cola drink. Made with grapefruit, and other citrus flavors, it was bottled in green glass bottles, much like 7-UP and Sprite. Their jingle was “Wink, the Sassy One, from Canada Dry. Since it's origin, Wink has been identified more as a mixer for cocktails.

The original Wink bottle and an old advertisement
The objective of the project was to redesign the Wink logo and packaging graphics to set it apart from other mixers available in the market.
Below are a few of the many explorations for the front of pack.
Taking inspiration from the top view of  cocktails and the cross-section of citrus fruits.

Structural Packaging
The material and finish is inspired by the traditional stainless steel cocktail shakers.
Even though the bottle form is familiar, the steel finish creates value
in the experience of infusing the mixer in one's drink.
